Hello, I'm Howard...of Howard.  So, what about me?  I was born in New Jersey and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida.  I live in Atlanta, Georgia.  Sometime after graduating from college, one of many Florida schools, my friend Denise came over and said, "Hey, let's paint."  Who knew that would be the start of a new career?  Did I really want to use my degree in communication anyway?

I began painting with acrylic paint, and I had decided that I liked its texture, look, mixability and quick drying time.  I paint with acrylic paint today, and I still love the end result.  Too bad it does not have much odor.  Smells are good.  I like thick texture as well as the smooth and brushless technique.  Canvas is the material on which I prefer to work.  The size and the shape of each canvas vary on my mood and the subject matter I wish to create.  I like to think that "size doesn't matter," ha.  Many of my paintings have high-gloss varnish on them.  I like things that are shiny.  Hmmmmm?

I have been commissioned to match fabric, wall colors, rugs, and to capture people, pets, and buildings.  I love a challenge: "bring it on!" I say.  I look forward to the next request.

I have sold more than 250 paintings over the years.  Many years.    One can never have too much Howard.  My goal is to mass-produce and become a sellout.  (sarcasm)
